I used this app once to practice my speech and it worked fine. It hasn’t worked since. I’ve tried redownloading and restarting my computer and phone but nothings worked. I know it’s only 99¢ but I’m not happy I wasted my money on this.

This app has not been updated in many years and will not work on my phone with IOS 10. It should be removed from the app store.

I had a two hour presentation and the minute I turned it on it wouldn't shoot a pointer out of my phone and tried using it to play with my kitten and it worked just fine! DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!! It is crap!😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡😤😡

After following all the instructions, whenever I open the app on my phone, it sees my computer but the phone screen is unresponsive. I can't click on my computer or even get the information button to respond. I wish I could get it to work. I am using Yosemite and iPhone 6.

Does not work. Product apparently not updated with Apple updates over the years. I write this in November 2014. Note other comments go back several years. No response from support. I tried with MacBook Pro and iPhone 5

I wish I had read the reviews better… this was horrible. You have to download an app on your computer which my Mac Pro will not run because it was not purchased in the iTunes store. I was able to use this app at all.

Asks for connection to server. Download to my macbook said it was not allowed and program was not in iTunes for MacBook programs. So much for 99 cents.

This function is built in the Keynote 6.2

This is soooooo awesome!! Once setup everything needed following the instruction, it works perfectly!!!

I bought and PAID for this app! Then it loads and says I need to download the software onto my computer. Tried to open the website and it doesn't exist. I tried a search no website. Gerry I want my money back! I don't care if it was only a dollar.

Wish I had read the reviews. This doesn't work. Their claims need to be accompanied by all the things you need to do for it to possibly work. And also,y computer said the developer was questionable. Is there a refund process. This was a rip-off.

This is by far the best presentation app. I'm running iPhone 5 and a 15" MacBook Pro. I setup a local computer-to-computer network on my MacBook and then connected to it using the wifi connection on my iPhone 5. Everyone was amazed how I controlled the ppt from my iPhone. Do not buy the iclickr app; it's 10x the price of this one. Thank god for this handy app. Saved my life today and impressed the group.

While it was easy to pair my computer and iPhone, when you actually try to control the presentations, the application constantly freezes up. Never got it to work!

I downloaded the program for mac that is need to run this app. Error popped up saying app hasn't been approved???

I had to make a two hour technical presentation to a group of engineers and marketers from a large corporation. The goal was to get them to use my product in their training school. I purchased pointer for my Mac and iPad one week before the presentation. I tried it out and had one issue with the next screen display not working. I sent an email to tech support and they were back to me within a few hours. Turned out I didn't know how to read instructions and it worked fine. When I made the presentation, it was in a high tech classroom with the display above and behind me with a mirrored display on my podium. There was no way to use either a physical pointer or a laser pointer. I used a cross hair loop pointer as the custom pointer on the iPad and was able to see what I was pointing to on the mirrored display while still facing the audience. It worked flawlessly and they ended up agreeing to feature my product in their school. The folks giving this low ratings must be using the pc version because I had no issues with the Mac version. My only criticism would be the appearance of the program could use a little polish.

It baffles me that there isn't a killer Keynote controller for the iPhone or iPad out there. This is inching closer to the magic, but isn't quite there. I'm using a 2009 MBP along with a new iPad and/or iPhone 4S. All of the controls work great, with one exception. I can't get the actual slide or presenter notes to display on my iPad or iPhone. I have contacted their customer support about it, and we'll see if I can get it resolved. If I can, I'll change this to a 4 or 5 star review. Here's hoping!

Better off with the keynote remote in terms of functionality.

This program does not work. Don't waste your money!

They don't tell you this till you buy the app, but the pc server is still in beta. I didn't try too hard but I downloaded all the software and I gave up after it didn't work in five or ten minutes. Maybe a more Persiansant customer would have better luck. Bu I do wish they would disclose that pc is still in beta before I bought this.

This is exactly what I was looking for. At times it drops the connection but the best way to guarantee a connection is to create a network on your MacBook and connect your iPad to that network. I gave a presentation in front of 1800 people with it. Worked like a charm!

Ripoff don't do it

Worked great on my home network but not on the network at university. Bummer

I have a new MacBook pro and a new iPhone an this app isn't connecting with my computer even after the computer download saying "PowerPC applications no longer supported."

This app works great on my iPhone with my Mac! I love the option to write on the slide I'm showing. Great big buttons for next/previous slide was helpful.

It looked useful but after buying I found out you have to download another software and it wont work on PC.

Just picked this up for a presentation. Pretty simple to pair with my Mac, but the image on my iPad is crap. I can read my notes fortunately, but the screen image is horrible and completely unreadable. If you just want to see your notes, it's a decent choice, but nothing more.

Could not get it to work.

App is good, but without important function. I cant control pointer via Accelerometer or gyroscope. It will be wonderful...

A must have for power point or keynote users….

Zentropy Software's Pointer is the fourth controller I have tried and, so far, the only one that will allow me to move quickly and easily between controlling a presentation and entering data on an unrelated web site without having to re-connect the controller Wi-Fi every time I return to my presentation. In addition, the pen and cursor functions work quite well, and the 'oval' and 'box' features are an unexpected, and very nice, bonus. I just wish it had 'Presenter Mode' so that I could see the upcoming slide before I show it to my students. It really is the best Wi-Fi PowerPoint controller in the App Store.

Nice concept but screen lag, random freeze ups, cursor control that doesn't work and other bugs make this unusable for any serious presentation. When it did work, I liked the ability to annotate the slides on screen rather than use the awkward PPT feature. should have put my dollar toward a real RF remote.

Found a bug, emailed company, received a response requesting more details within minutes. Within a couple hours, received a 2nd message with a fixed server application attached. This is a one-man shop, so this kind of response is AWESOME!! Well worth the money.

The pointer is just a cursor witch cant be changed for me and music had to be on the slide for it to even work

It just does NOT work. It used to work ok when I bought it, but it stops working two slides into the presentation (even staying by the laptop). You're better off using the Apple remote (even without the pointer).

I bought it for the app's ability to flip through slides on keynote AND powerpoint. However, I quickly learned that you can also use it as a TRACKPAD!!! So for .99 this is definitely worth it. The official 'keynote remote' app may look cooler and even can preview what the next slides are but a)doesn't work with anything other than keynote, which is fine if that's what you're looking for b)its much more expensive. Yes, you have to download an app(for free) on their website but that's what makes it secured to your personal computer. Once that's done forget ever having to get up out of your chair. This really impresses lots of my friends, including my friend who works for apple. Enjoy!

Easy to use terrific app if you ever need to be away from your laptop while giving a talk. Pointer function is also very useful.

This product works ok, but you will have to download another program for the computer you are using it on/with. Also it does not have a preview of the slide you are on. It would be nice to see the slide you are on as well as the next slide. This would really make it worth while. But for .99 cents, what do you expect?

Great! takes a little practice but is worth it

I really do not understand who says this application does not work. I use constantly and is just fantastic! You do not need to use any laser pointer anymore and is even better if you are presenting in multiple screens. Also they have a great support, I had a little setting issue and got an answer and resolution right away.

This does not work unless you have the newest version of keynote...I spent money then found this out. Too bad they did not take the time to disclose this at the time of purchase. That would have been honorable.

Hey, nice work on this... I just gave a presentation at a conference that my boss called a "home run" partly thanks to your app. I downloaded this the night before and without too much trouble (except when the buttons at the bottom went away and I'm not sure how they came back) I got it working with Pages 08. Great idea and great work, best wishes.

This is one of the best iPhone apps out there. I've had an oppertunity to use it with keynote and it works as advertised. It is so useful to have during presentation. Much better then an standard remote. It's like having a remote and laser pointer built into your iPhone. Lots of useful features. Practice with it until fully comfortable before using it on a lecture. NEED MORE CURSORS THOUGH.

Ive been in need of a great working PP remote app for my iphone and out of the "popular" ones ive tried this one is by far the best. With its latest update (so you can now see slides on the iphone screen) it pushes this app to the top and is a steal at $.99. I can also use this as an app for my computer as a point ( this is kind of accidental but works great). The biggest feature I would like added is the ability to view and use this in landscape mode. I use video in my PP's and this is the only app that does not get stuck when it plays. YAY for this app!

This software does not work with the orientation... when the description said it "takes practice" I wonder if that meant the developer needs to practice? This is not worth .99 in my opinion. I really want my money back.

I LOVE this app! I bought this one first bc it was the cheapest, but after trying all the expensive ones I always come back to this one. It is the only one with a pointer so I don't have to have a laser pointer in one hand and my phone in the other. Works better than laser pointers that die halfway thru presentations despite having just changed the battery. My only request is I would like to view the next complete slide so I remember where my lecture is going and I'll be free from the computer screen completely! Thanks for a great app!

This is way better than Apple's app. You can change slides just by tapping! The pointer feature is really handy and works well too. I love this app - it's exactly what I want on a remote.
